Bookmark Farms Horse Lover’s Day Camp – Open to children ages 4-12

May 30 – June 2 (4-day week)      June 19-23
July 5-7 (3-day week)      July 10-14       July 17-21       July 24-28
August 7-11      August 14-18      August 21-25 

(Please check your school schedule before signing up for the last two weeks in August. Some schools start early.
If there are openings, we will offer short weeks for Aug. 14-18 and Aug. 21-25.

Camp Tuition: $390    

May 30-June 2: $315 / July 5-7: $235

• Register two or more siblings and receive $20 off each.

• Register for multiple weeks and receive $20 off each week.

• These discounts may be combined.

Columbus Academy Summer Experience Program at Bookmark Farms

What’s the difference between Bookmark Farms Horse Lover’s Day Camp and The Columbus Academy Summer Experience Program?  The Columbus Academy program is offered at a lower price, has a shorter day and campers ride the bus to Bookmark Farms from The Columbus Academy. Both programs offer the same great curriculum!

• June 5-7, & 9 (Grades 2-5) Farm & Nature Explorer
• June 5-7, & 9 (Ages 3-4 with Caretaker) All About Ponies
• June 12-16 (Grades K-5) All About Horses
• June 26-30 (Grades K-5) All About Horses
• July 31-August 4 (Grades K-5) All About Horses

victor-lesson-1024x685We are Central Ohio’s longest-running camp of its kind… We’ve taught hundreds of kids to ride and enjoy horses! Located in Central Ohio’s beautiful horse country, Bookmark Farms Horse Lover’s Day Camp is fun and educational.

♦ Campers ride every day in group and private lessons.

♦ Campers work directly with horses to learn safe ways to lead, groom and tack.

♦ Campers learn how horses think, feel and react.

♦ Learning is hands-on with horses and ponies, inside of

♦ Nature walks, games & water fun on hot days round out the week.

♦ Riding instruction is taught in the hunter/jumper style.

♦ Camp Hours: Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

♦ On the last day of camp, parents are invited to watch campers as they show off their new skills on one of their favorite Bookmark Farms horse or pony.

billy-bob-200x300Whether you’ve attended Horse Lover’s Day Camp before or are a new camper to Bookmark Farms, you’re guaranteed to have fun! Our horses and ponies are sweet and gentle and looking forward to summer camp. Come meet the favorites: Daisy, Promise and Billy Bob. They love seeing old friends, and meeting new ones too!!  

♦ No experience necessary. If you do come to camp with some riding experience, our trained counselors will evaluate your level of riding. This also applies to campers who participate in multiple camp weeks each summer.

♦ Camp is co-ed and campers must be between the ages of four and sixteen.

♦ Weekly Tuition: $390. Before/after camp-care available for $5 per 1/2 hour.

♦ Bring your lunch, water, drinks, snacks, medications, sunscreen, etc.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: All camp registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your dates we must have your completed registration(s) accompanied by full payment and signed liability form(s). No refunds will be given with the exception of a written medical excuse from a physician. Monies paid for camp can be credited toward another camp session, lessons, pony party, etc. An administrative fee of $20 will be charged. Chosen camp dates can be changed up to 10 business days before your scheduled session begins. Rescheduling will incur a $20 administrative fee. We reserve the right to cancel or change any session based upon participation. No fee will be charged if this occurs.
