Emily Neely

image2Emily Neely grew up in central Ohio and began riding at Bookmark Farms at the age of nine. During high school, Emily was a member of the Bookmark Farms Equestrian Team for two years, and was the team captain her second year. Emily qualified for IEA Regional and Zone finals both of her years with the team. Before leaving for college, Emily worked as a Groom and Senior Camp Counselor at Bookmark Farms. She attended Ohio University, and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Specialized Studies, with a concentration in Business and Communications. She was a member of the Ohio University Hunt Seat Equestrian Team for four years, and was elected Vice President of the team her senior year. She qualified for IHSA Regionals twice, and qualified for the Zone finals once. After graduating, Emily relocated to upstate New York and took the position of Head Trail Guide at the Adirondack Equine Center in Lake Placid. After returning to Ohio in 2014, Emily returned to Bookmark Farms. She is excited to teach and help young riders develop the same passion for horses she learned at Bookmark Farms.
